Stop the Horns!

Quality of life for all residents should be the priority of those that put themselves in a position of power.
Sadly this was not the case at the City of Markham.
It has taken close to a decade to get the blasting horns of the GO trains silenced. It has taken protest after protest, the ruffling of so many feathers, thousands of meetings and heated conversations, and just so much more than was morally necessary. 
Having said that, I, Shanta, am delighted to share, that with the support of the community, we have been able to silence the horns at all but one crossing in our City.
Peace has been achieved for tens of thousands of residents and we have learned a great lesson.
Together we are stronger!
